Grand Strand Affair is committed to creating a consensual, respectful, and inclusive environment where all attendees feel safe to explore and learn. The following guidelines are in place for all attendees, presenters, staff, and volunteers. These policies apply throughout the full duration of Grand Strand Affair, including classes, dungeons, hallways, social spaces, and all associated events.
We will treat your report with discretion and care. Reports will be investigated by our IRT Committee to ensure fairness and impartiality.
We expect everyone at Grand Strand Affair between consensual pain and lasting harm. Never aim to diminish someone’s ability to thrive.
Disclaimer: Grand Strand Affair will make every reasonable effort to enforce this policy. However, we cannot guarantee full enforcement in all situations, and each case will be reviewed individually.
All attendees are ultimately responsible for their own safety and for respecting the boundaries of others.
This is a living document; our understanding of consent and community ethics evolves over time. We are committed to updating this policy to reflect current best practices. Any significant changes will be made in consultation with the Grand Strand Affair Board of Directors.
